Kuotz allows a municipality to reduce the time spent issuing requests for proposals (RFPs) and requests for quotes (RFQs). Kuotz simplifies the procurement process, acting as a single source online clearing-house for RFPs and RFQs. Buyers can use the online interface to research interested vendors, discuss the job criteria, award bids and archive completed jobs in a single centralized platform.
The Kuotz platform allows the municipality to provide plans and specifications along with actual RFPs, giving vendors enhanced ability to review the information they need to determine their interest in a particular job. Vendors can also upload their own plans, pricing tables or other documents that may be beneficial for the municipality to view during the discussion and bidding process.
